The deal, in plain terms.
ForgeSwap is a tool, not a custodian. That distinction decides most of what follows.

What ForgeSwap does
You choose a pair, we obtain a quote and a deposit address, you send funds directly to that address, and the network delivers the result to the wallet you named.
We never hold your assets. We are not a bank, a broker, an exchange in the custodial sense, or an investment service, and nothing here is financial advice.
Your responsibilities
By using ForgeSwap you confirm that:
- you are of legal age where you live, and permitted to use this service there;
- the funds are yours and lawfully obtained;
- you understand crypto transactions are irreversible;
- you will check every address before sending.
That last point carries more weight than the others. We check the shape of an address, which catches an address pasted for the wrong chain — but not a typo that keeps the right shape. Send to a wrong address of the right shape and the funds are gone. Nobody can reverse it: not us, not the settlement network, not the chain.
Quotes, rates and fees
A quote is an estimate, valid for the countdown shown. What you actually receive depends on network conditions, liquidity and price movement between your deposit and its settlement. Larger swaps move the price against you more; the estimated slippage is shown before you commit.
Our fee is 0.1%, already deducted from the figure you are quoted. Network and settlement fees apply on top and are outside our control. There is no hidden spread: the number you see is the number we execute.
Every pair has a minimum, shown before you send. Deposit less and the settlement network may reject or refund it, less its own costs.
What can go wrong
- Sending the wrong amount. Send what the deposit screen shows. A different amount may be refunded or may fail to match your order.
- Missing a required memo or payment ID. Where one is shown, the deposit cannot be matched without it.
- Sending after the countdown expires. Refresh for a current quote first.
- Sending from an exchange account or a smart contract wallet. Use a wallet you control the keys to. Refunds go back to the sending address, and one you don't control may be unreachable.
- Settlement delays. Networks congest. A swap can take considerably longer than estimated.
If something stalls, keep your order reference — it is the only way to identify your swap, and it stops working once the record is deleted under our privacy policy.
Availability
We depend on networks and may be unavailable without notice. We may decline or halt any swap, and may withdraw pairs when they cannot be settled reliably. No uptime is promised.
Liability
ForgeSwap is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of it, including losses from a mistyped address, price movement, network failure, or the acts of a settlement provider.
This does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Legal use
You must not use ForgeSwap for money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, fraud, or any other unlawful purpose. We may refuse or halt a swap where we believe it necessary, and we may be required to act on a lawful order.
Crypto rules differ by country and change often. Whether you may use this service, and what you owe in tax, is yours to determine.
Getting in touch
contact@forgeswap.io. Quote your order reference — without it a swap can't be identified, and after the retention period it no longer exists on our side.
Changes
These terms may change; the date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use ForgeSwap after a change means the new version applies.
